Ehsan Gifts (Kindness gifts) are the best ways that a person shows obedience to Allah and earns good deeds (Hasanat). Gifting water is the best Sadaqah. It is called Water Soqia.
In the virtue of Water Gifting (Soqia): it was also narrated by Saad bin Ubadah, may Allah bless him, who said: (I said: O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died, should I give charity on her behalf? He said: Yes, I said: Which charity is better? He said: giving water). It was also mentioned in the hadith narrated by Ahmad and Abu Dawud on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, that the Prophet, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: (“There is no charity greater in reward than water”).
